DUTCH Hormone Test Interpretation

Service Description

This appointment is for the interpretation of your DUTCH® Hormone Test results only. The cost of the DUTCH Plus test is $400 and is purchased separately through our office. The test is completed in the comfort and privacy of your own home, then returned to the laboratory in the for analysis before this interpretation appointment is scheduled. This DUTCH Plus includes a comprehensive analysis of sex hormones, cortisol levels, and their metabolites. It also includes an analysis measuring your Cortisol Awakening Response (CAR). This involves measuring cortisol levels right after waking, which offers insights into how the body responds to stress, especially during the early morning hours. The DUTCH Plus provides a more detailed picture of adrenal function and how the body reacts to stress throughout the day, making it especially useful for those with stress-related issues or suspected HPA axis dysfunction. The test also offers further insight by including organic acid testing, which evaluates potential nutritional deficiencies, oxidative stress, gut dysbiosis, melatonin levels, and neuro-inflammation. Your DUTCH® Hormone Test provides an incredible amount of information about how your body is producing, metabolizing, and eliminating hormones but understanding what it all means can be overwhelming.
