Here are some of the questions we get asked the most.

Q. Why do my thermogram files delete after 2 years of inactivity?

A. Because secure medical image storage is expensive and we pay top dollar to do it correctly for our VIP Clients.

Your high-resolution thermal images and health history are stored on a HIPAA-compliant server to protect your privacy and medical information.

That is not free.

Maintaining secure storage for thousands of inactive files indefinitely simply does not make sense for a small wellness business committed to quality over shortcuts.

If you never return for follow-up imaging there is no reason for us to continue paying ongoing storage costs for your images.

We are very upfront about this policy in all of the paperwork that you signed. In fact, we regularly remind clients before deletion occurs and encourage them to save copies of their reports for their personal records.

Once your thermography images are permanently deleted, valuable information is lost and cannot be recovered.

Your baseline thermogram serves as the foundation for all future comparisons and is one of the most important parts of long-term thermal monitoring.

Thermography is a preventative screening tool designed to track change over time, which is why maintaining your baseline images is critical for future follow-up evaluations.

All these years imaging, I often wonder why people invest in a baseline thermogram and then never return for follow-up imaging. The truth is, they are missing the MOST important piece of using thermography correctly.

A baseline is simply the starting point, a snapshot in time. The real answers come from comparison imaging over time. The follow-ups show whether inflammation patterns are improving, remaining stable, or becoming more concerning as the body ages and changes.

Why spend money on a preventative screening tool and never come back to see what happened next?

If you do not plan to continue monitoring your health or following recommendations regarding inflammation and preventative wellness, your baseline images may no longer hold value to you.

However, clients who are serious about long-term prevention understand that these images become increasingly important years down the road.

Here’s the bigger truth most people don’t realize:

Thermography was NEVER designed to be a “one and done” screening tool.

The baseline is only the beginning of your story. The follow-ups are where patterns, changes, improvements, and progression are monitored over time.

That’s where the real value of using this amazing technology is!

If you are not returning for follow-ups, you are not using thermography the way it was intended to be used.

Bottom Line: Without follow-ups, you are not receiving the full preventative value of this screening tool. Due to the costs to store your images securely, if you are inactive with our office for two years, and you're not investing in your health, then why would we invest in you?

Q. Do you really give away services?

A. Yes. Absolutely!

I have been in the wellness business for 38 years and it doesn't look like I'll be retiring anytime soon! In fact, because we have more men using thermography, we'll have a male tech working full time starting January 2027. Tell your better half to schedule that thermogram!

Q. Do you take medical insurance?

A. Nope.

We are a private-pay wellness office and do not bill medical insurance.

Why? Because insurance companies typically dictate care, limit prevention-based services, reduce appointment quality, and create unnecessary barriers between people and their health choices.

We prefer to focus on people, not insurance codes.

The good news is that we do accept HSA cards for many services.

Many of our clients also appreciate knowing exactly what they are paying upfront without surprise bills, deductibles, or insurance games weeks later. All of our services are reasonably priced!

Final Thoughts

We know our approach is not for everyone and that’s okay. If you’re just looking for a quick, one-and-done thermal snapshot, or a half ass service, and you don't care about personalized service, expert care, and standards and protocols, our office just might not be your perfect match.
