It's About Respect for You, Our Team, and Every Client Waiting for an Appointment. Because of this, we have a 48-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy.
At Functional Wellness & Imaging, every appointment is reserved exclusively for you. Unlike many healthcare offices that double-book or overbook their schedules, we intentionally reserve dedicated time for each client.
Your thermography technician has blocked that time specifically for your imaging appointment, ensuring you receive our full attention without being rushed.
Why 48 Hours?
Many people assume another client can simply take their place if they cancel the day before. Unfortunately, that is rarely the case.
Our thermography appointments require:
Reserved technician time
Temperature-controlled imaging rooms
Specialized scheduling
Client preparation before imaging
When an appointment is canceled with less than 48 hours' notice, it is often impossible to fill that opening. As a result:
Your technician loses reserved work time.
Another client misses the opportunity to schedule that appointment.
Valuable imaging time goes unused.
Our policy helps protect everyone's time.
You Agree to This Policy When You Schedule
During online scheduling, every client reviews and agrees to our cancellation policy before confirming an appointment.
The policy explains that appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice result in the forfeiture of the appointment deposit.
We never enjoy enforcing this policy, but it allows us to operate fairly and consistently for every client.
Life Happens—We Understand
We know emergencies happen.
Children get sick.
Cars break down.
Unexpected situations arise.
Our goal is never to penalize someone experiencing a true emergency.
However, last-minute schedule changes make it very difficult for us to serve other clients and support the techs who have reserved that time.
Whenever possible, please let us know as soon as you realize you cannot make your appointment. The more notice we receive, the greater the chance we have of offering your appointment to another client.
