You’ve had your thermography scan, you’ve received your colorful report, and now you’re wondering: what do I do with this? You’re not alone — this is one of the most common questions we hear!

Your report has been interpreted by a Board-Certified M.D. That doctor reviews your thermal images and provides a detailed interpretation in the written report you receive within 10 days of your in-office appointment.

If you’d like to discuss your thermogram report with the Interpreting Physician (IP): You can schedule a telehealth consult directly with the M.D. to review your findings, ask questions, and discuss recommendations. There is an additional fee for this service. This service is not included in the imaging appointment. Separate fees apply. We can provide the contact information for your IP, just email the office and let us know!

Your imaging session includes one free 15-minute phone call with a thermography technician. This call is included in the price of the initial in-office appointment. This call is with a thermography technician (not a doctor) and is simply to help you understand the language and color patterns of the thermogram report AFTER you receive the report. This is not to diagnose or discuss treatment options.

Our Thermography Technicians are not doctors. Techs are trained to capture images and help you understand what the colors and patterns represent. Think of them like X-ray techs. They collect the images but do not diagnose or interpret medical findings. A Board-Certified M.D. interprets your thermal images and creates your comprehensive report. Additional fees apply if you wish to consult with an M.D. about your thermal results.

If you’re ready to dig deeper into what these results mean and how to use this information for your health goals, we do have an FDN-Practitioner on staff who can work directly with you, teaching you how to be a health detective of your own body and showing how your results can tie into longevity and optimal health. There is an additional fee to work with the FDN-Practitioner. This service is not included in thermal imaging appointments.

We hope this helps — and we look forward to seeing you for the most important part of thermal imaging, your follow-up scan!
